Followed from that evening out, we became the targets of a shooting that nearly took everything from us. The physical wounds eventually began to heal, but the emotional scars ran deeper. Richard struggled with the weight of trauma and depression, his spirit shaken and hope slipping away. In those darkest days, Kim refused to let despair win. With unwavering love and determination, she helped him find a new center — a renewed sense of purpose. She encouraged him to channel his pain into his greatest passion: crafting cigars.
